See UltraEdit's new window docking control!
NEW: GUI refresh; new toolbars, child windows, and more...See for yourself...
Besides a host of new features and enhancements, UltraEdit's powerful new interface delivers an unsurpassed user experience for any text editing need.

Moving your child windows has never been easier. We've provided more control to you - the user - for moving, docking, and hiding child windows. UltraEdit v15 offers more flexibility in placement of your child windows with tabbed child windows and auto-hide controls.

The easy-to-use child window dock control allows you to see exactly where your child windows are going and whether float in the application or dock inside of it.

New file tab controls give you more flexibility in opening and closing files. Just like with Firefox, you can now double-click the empty file tab space in UEStudio to open and create a blank new file; you can also middle-click an existing file tab to close it.

NEW: Wordfile overhaul - supports unlimited number of highlighting languages
Never again will you need to worry about switching out syntax highlighting languages to stay under the 20 wordfile limit... we've done away with it! Now you can add an unlimited number of separate wordfiles to the new "Wordfile" directory; what's more, each wordfile can be it's own separate file! Now adding a syntax highlighting language to UltraEdit is as simple as saving the file to your wordfiles directory.

NEW: SSH/Telnet session logging
Save all of the information passed between you and the server with the new SSH/telnet session logging feature! To enable SSH/telnet loggin, click on the "Advanced" tab in the SSH account configuration. You can specify your own logging files on a per-account basis or use the default, which are saved in your %appdata%\IDMComp\UltraEdit directory.

NEW: Delete bookmarked lines
Version 15 includes the ability to delete your bookmarked lines with the click of a mouse, or you can assign a hotkey to it. Now you can easily delete lines containing a certain string by using the Lines Containing String's "Bookmark" option - once all of your lines are bookmarked from this dialog, you can delete them.

NEW: Key map Web Search buttons and add them to your menus
We've made the Web Search tools even more convenient! You can now assign hotkeys to your favorite Web Search tools, or add them to any of your custom menus.

NEW: "Search in Column" defaults to selected column range
The best editor search utility just got even better... v15 provides the intuitive behavior of defaulting the "Search in Column" range to the selected column range (if one is available).
